Pre-K Class Bulletin

Throughout the school year, the students will be learning about each of the four seasons using real-life observations, books, photos, and craft projects, etc. The students worked together to create and paint our own classroom tree, that is displayed in the hallway, to help us to monitor these changes. Over the course of the year, they will work collaboratively to decorate the tree to symbolize the changes of each season, i.e. Fall: yellow, red, orange leaves, Winter: snowflakes, Spring: flowers, and Summer: green leaves.

Please enjoy these photos of our winter display. We decorated our snow-covered tree, made winter hats patterns, and designed snow people inspired by Lois Elhert's book "Snowballs."

We also did a science experiment to create "sensory snow" using two basic ingredients: baking soda and white hair conditioner. For the recipe, please follow this link: http://www.growingajeweledrose.com/2014/05/frozen-snow-recipe-for-play.html
